Charity Visit to Orphanage

At MB World Group Berhad, we believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a way by which we fill our roles and responsibilities within our community. Together, we can contribute positively to our society and environment and build sustainable communities over time.
On 14th January 2017, we organized a half-day visit to Amitabha Charity Orphanage, which is the home to 23 children. Staffs were given a guided tour showing the environment of the place. Staff had the chance to spend time with the children over refreshments, presented them with small gifts as well as hosting some entertainment programs for the children such as a clown performance.
We supplied essential items, including rice, oil, canned food and toiletries which were personally presented by our Executive Director to the representatives at the orphanage. An amount of donation was also made together.
The visit allowed us an opportunity to have an up-close understanding about the children’s needs. We hope that the time spent together was uplifting, the groceries supplied and the token given were of assistance in providing some measure of comfort and improvement to the welfare of the children.
