MB World Group supports local university’s CSR programme at Johor Zoo
22 May 2025 – MB World Group Berhad recently contributed a RM1,000 donation and 50 Ruellia simplex plants to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme organised by undergraduates from a local research university at Johor Zoo.
The programme, titled “Lead, Clean, Roar! HRD CSR Experience” was led by Year 3 students enrolled in the Ethics and Social Responsibility course under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Development) with Honours programme at the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM).
The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and social responsibility, foster teamwork and leadership among students, and contribute to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment that enhances the visitor experience at Johor Zoo.
As part of the programme, students were divided into groups and engaged in activities such as cleaning animal enclosures, painting, and planting the 50 Ruellia simplex plants donated by MB World Group.
