MB World Group extends assistance to charity homes amid pandemic

31 December 2021 – Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, MB World Group Berhad through its subsidiaries continue to extend assistance to charity homes to support them weather the pandemic.

At the end of May 2021, the Group through its subsidiary Cocoa Valley Development Sdn. Bhd. contributed RM1,000 and other daily necessities worth over RM1,800 to Yu Shan JB Disabled Welfare Center located in Taman Sri Tebrau, Johor Bahru.

Yu Shan Johor Bahru is a non-profit organisation dedicated in adopting and helping children with mental or physical challenges. Among the daily necessities contributed contained rice, cooking oil, canned food, traditional medicines and cleaning detergent.

In December 2021, MB World Group through its subsidiary MB Max Sdn. Bhd. contributed two ceiling fans, one water heater and bedsheets to Sharon Elderly Care Centre which dedicates to provide a safe and warm shelter, especially for the homeless seniors.

Besides this, MB World Group through its subsidiary Crystal Faber Sdn. Bhd. also made a donation of RM5,000 to The Heart Foundation of Malaysia (Yayasan Jantung Malaysia). The Heart Foundation of Malaysia is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation dedicated to the education of the public on heart and circulatory diseases. The Group hopes that this aid will help support the foundation’s initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle among the public which is especially important during the pandemic.
