MB World Group joins initiative to thank front-liners
25 January 2021 – MB World Group Berhad joined a charity initiative called the “Capri Thank You Front-liners Meal” to deliver a total of 550 meals to the heroes on the front lines.
A joint collaboration among MB World Group Berhad, Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru/ Malaysia, and SKS Group, this initiative was aimed to express appreciation and gratitude to the frontline heroes, who work tirelessly and selflessly making great sacrifices for the community’s health and safety during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Of the 550 meals given out, 350 were delivered to Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru and 100 meals were delivered to Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru.
Apart from the healthcare centres, 100 meals were delivered to police personnel who conducted roadblocks around Johor Bahru.
Through the charity activity, the organisers also hope to raise awareness that we are all in this together and working towards the goal of flattening the Covid-19 curve.
