MB World Group supports TEDx Sungai Segget 2017
Guided by one of our core values, i.e., learning, MB World Group encourages continuous learning, development and growth. In the spirit of ‘ideas worth spreading’, we supported TEDx Sungai Segget 2017 serving as their platinum sponsor with an amount of RM10,000. The event was held on 7 October, 2017 at Amari Hotel in Johor Bahru.
TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. It is a nonprofit global movement devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short and powerful talks, to communities around the world.
Themed as ‘CONNECT’ this year, TEDx Sungai Segget 2017 envisioned to provide a conversation platform that addresses a wide variety of issues that spark community connections and inspire ideas that change perspectives.
At the event, various speakers including Mr. Johan Arifin Bin Mohd Ropi, Chief Executive Officer of Institut Integriti Kepimpinan Dan Latihan Semangat Dato’ Onn, (IKLAS), Dr. Chua Sook Ning, Founder of Relate Malaysia, and Mr. Rohith Govindan, Founder of Aarambam Music Academy shared their valuable experiences and insights. An exhibition featuring works from some local designers was held alongside the public speaking event.
