MB World Group Takes Underprivileged Children to Johor Zoo

7 July 2017

On 7 October 2017, Staff of MB World Group organised  a fun-filled outing to Johor Zoo for 32 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Baitul Maghfirah.

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Baitul Maghfirah is a non-profit organisation located in Bandar Baru Uda, Johor Bahru. The charity house is established to accommodate children of poor families and aims to empower the lives of orphaned and underprivileged children.

The idea of taking the children to visit the zoo was intended to let them enjoy the fun of outdoor activities while learning the facts about animals through various educational games led by our staff.  Staff had fun interacting firsthand with the children, it also helped to cultivate a culture of caring and social connectedness amongst all.

In our interest in supporting sustainability development, we contributed 60 ‘Tabernaemontana Corymbosa’ plants to Johor Zoo to help reduce the ecosystem’s degradation and poverty.

After the visit, the children were treated to a buffet lunch at Amari Hotel Johor Bahru. MB World Group also donated RM5,000 to the charity organization.
